Terms of service

Last updated 19 October 2026

1. Who we are

BonusBurn is operated by STRKK LTD, registered in England and Wales, company number 13503997. Our registered office is 86-90 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NE, United Kingdom. For help with BonusBurn or these terms, use our contact form.

2. Using BonusBurn

You must be at least 18 to use BonusBurn. These terms cover personal use of our website and apps. You need an account to save activity and a subscription to use paid features. Keep your account information accurate and your login details private. Tell us if you suspect someone else is using your account.

3. Using the service fairly

Do not interfere with other users, attempt unauthorised access or misuse the service. Do not copy or distribute our content without permission, except where the law allows it.

4. Fitness content and estimates

BonusBurn offers general fitness guidance, not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Choose exercises and a space that are safe for you. Stop if you feel pain, dizziness or unusual symptoms, and seek advice from a qualified healthcare professional if you are unsure about exercising. Calorie and progress figures are estimates, not clinical measurements. Results vary, and we cannot promise weight loss or a particular fitness outcome.

5. Account and health choices

Our Privacy policy explains how we use your information. Personalised health and activity features require your separate explicit consent. You can decline or withdraw it and still manage your account and billing. Withdrawing consent deletes your saved health and activity history. It does not cancel your subscription, so cancel separately if you no longer want paid access.

6. Subscriptions and renewals

Your checkout or app store shows the price, currency, taxes, billing period and renewal terms before you pay. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. One subscription works on web and mobile when you use the same BonusBurn account. Buying a second subscription does not merge payments or extend the first subscription; contact us if you have bought twice by mistake.

7. Who handles your payment

Web subscriptions are sold by Link, Stripe's checkout service. Link is the seller, and its name and payment terms appear at checkout and on your receipt. Apple and Google sell subscriptions bought in their stores. We provide the BonusBurn service, whichever way you pay.

8. Cancellation and account deletion

To stop future charges, open Settings → Subscription → Manage or cancel subscription, or contact us. Requesting account deletion starts cancellation of web renewals we administer. If the payment provider cannot complete cancellation, we retry; check your subscription status and contact us if it remains unresolved. Paid access normally continues until the end of the paid period or final account erasure, whichever comes first. Removing the app does not cancel your subscription. You must cancel Apple or Google subscriptions separately.

You have seven days to withdraw an account-deletion request. Withdrawing the request does not automatically restart a subscription or renewal already stopped. After the grace period, we process health and activity erasure independently of billing cleanup. Limited account and billing records may remain until provider cleanup is resolved. You can ask for earlier erasure through our contact form; this is a request for us to review, not an immediate automated deletion.

9. Refunds and consumer rights

Your legal rights come first. We do not offer an additional money-back guarantee, and cancelling a renewal does not by itself entitle you to a refund for unused time. If digital content is faulty or misdescribed, you may be entitled to repair or replacement and, where the law provides, a price reduction or refund. If a service is not provided with reasonable care and skill, you may be entitled to repeat performance or a price reduction, which can be a full refund. Nothing here limits these or other mandatory consumer rights.

10. Refund requests through your billing provider

For web purchases sold through Link, its applicable refund terms take priority over any more restrictive policy here. Link’s UK consumer terms provide a 14-day cooling-off period from access to or delivery of the purchased product. Use the support link on your receipt and identify a cooling-off request. For App Store or Google Play purchases, request a refund through that store. You can also use our contact form for help. Your statutory rights still apply.

11. Cooling-off rights for services

For UK online service contracts, the usual cancellation period is 14 days from making the contract. If you expressly ask us to begin providing a service during that period, any lawful charge on cancellation must be proportionate to the service provided. The right is lost through full performance only where the required prior consent and acknowledgement have been obtained. Accepting these terms or starting to use BonusBurn alone does not waive your rights.

12. Cooling-off rights for digital content

UK online purchases of digital content normally also have a 14-day cancellation period from making the contract. For content supplied without a physical medium, that right can end when supply begins only if the required express consent, acknowledgement of the loss of the right and contract confirmation have been provided. We do not treat these terms alone as consent to waive it. More favourable seller terms, including applicable Link terms, remain available.

13. Additional subscription protections

When and to the extent that the subscription-contract provisions of the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 and its implementing regulations apply to your contract, including any transitional rules, you receive the required information, reminders, cancellation arrangements, notices and cooling-off rights. Nothing in these terms restricts those protections.

14. How to exercise a cancellation right

To cancel, send a clear statement using our contact form, email [email protected] or write to our address above. For example: “Please cancel my BonusBurn subscription. My account email is [email].” You do not have to give a reason, use a particular form, supply a postal address or sign your request. Include enough information to identify the purchase, and never include passwords or card details. A cancellation notice is timely if you send it before the applicable deadline; you do not have to wait for our reply. We will help with requests that need to be handled by the seller on your receipt.

15. Refund timing and method

Refunds due for statutory cancellation of services or digital content are made without undue delay and within 14 days of receiving your cancellation notice. Refunds under statutory faulty-content or service remedies are made without undue delay and within 14 days of agreeing that you are entitled to them. We use the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise and charge no refund fee. Any more favourable deadline or right required by law still applies.

16. Changes and availability

We provide BonusBurn with reasonable care and skill. Maintenance or faults may interrupt access; we will take reasonable steps to restore it. We may change features or these terms for legal, security or service reasons. We will give at least 30 days’ notice of material changes to these terms, material reductions to paid features or changes to renewal prices. Urgent legal or security requirements may require shorter notice for service or terms changes; we will explain those changes as soon as reasonably possible. This exception does not shorten the 30-day notice for a price increase. Price changes apply to future renewals, not a period you have already paid for. Where the law requires express agreement to a change, continued use alone is not acceptance.

17. If a change affects your paid service

If a material change disadvantages you, you can end the affected subscription before the change takes effect and request a proportionate refund for prepaid time you will not use. Where urgent changes take effect sooner, contact us promptly to exercise this right. Any greater remedy required by law still applies.

18. Suspension and ending the service

We may restrict access when reasonably needed to address fraud, security risks, unlawful use, a serious breach of these terms or non-payment. Where safe and lawful, we will explain why and give you a reasonable chance to resolve the issue. If we permanently stop providing a paid service before your paid period ends, we will arrange an appropriate refund for the unused period through your billing provider. Any greater legal entitlement still applies.

19. Our responsibility to you

We are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our breach of these terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill. BonusBurn is for personal use; we are not responsible for business losses arising from business use. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

20. Complaints and applicable law

Please contact us if something goes wrong so we can investigate. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. You keep the mandatory consumer protections of the country where you normally live. You can bring a claim in the courts of England and Wales or, where applicable consumer law allows, the courts where you live. You can also contact a consumer protection authority.
